Winch for an 08' Sportsman 800

I an looking at getting a winch for my Sportsman 800. I found a Viper Classic winch 2500lb for $129 with free shipping. Are they any good? Also, is 2500lb winch for my ATV to small? If so, what size would be suggested? I don't do any hardcore mudding. Light stuff and trail riding but if I do get into a good hole would the 2500lb be enough?

Not sure on that winch, but I've been very pleased with the Warn XT30's on my 800. I would imagine a 2500 would be sufficient for most outings.

2500 will be enough for you unless you get stuck in some peanut butter mud. As for the Viper classic, not sure on that exact one, but the viper elite's are pretty good.
