Are you serious? 800 EFI exhaust?

Does anybody make a friggin true dual exhaust that will fit a 2011 sportsman 800 EFI? Does anyone make a kit that doesn't cost a grand in fabrication and labor cost for installation??

If you have any knowledge, please feel free to enlighten me because every aftermarket slip on exhaust I've heard sounds like a joke on the 800.

I haven't seen anything for the '11 yet, but this is for the '05-
08. May be worthwhile to email them to see if they haven anything in the works.

2005-2008 Polaris 800cc Sportsman "TRUE DUAL" Full Exhaust Kit

Also, exhausts can't change the tone, only amplify what is already there. And the 800 parallel twin isn't the best sounding machine out there...at all.

Yeah I understand that the 800 twin isn't the best sounding but these HSP duals make it sound 10 times better in this video.

I'm going to send them an email and see whats up with not having them for 09-12 models or if they will ever make them.

Not really.

The HSP true duals will maybe work and the key word there is maybe but your going to have to shell out the cash for the exhaust system, some fabrication at an exhaust shop, and purchase an EFI tuner so your looking at like 1100-1300 dollars for everything. I guess mine is going to stay stock unless I hit the lottery.

I can't really believe that anyone would spend $800. for an exhaust for a ATV.

What is different on the 2011 model versus the prior years anyhow??

I'll agree that the 800 sound is less than desireable, but I stumbled across a vid on youtube where a guy used a Magnaflow muffler in place of the stock one and it produced a nice deep tone, well deeper than stock anyhow. Cost of the muffler is $79 bucks and then I'm sure welding it up would be fairly cheap also. It would only be a slip-on type system, but it would have to show some improvement over stock (well if it didnt show any power gains at least it would sound a little better and a guy would only be out ~$100 bucks versus who knows what for these other systems).

Here it is:

I feel your pain my 800 sounds like a snowmobile. I wont pay that kind of money for a new muffler.
