What do you think of this performance setup?

I have a 2011 sportsman 400 HO and im wanting to extract a little more power out of her. Kinda new to the atv seen so bare with me if you would. I was thinking of going with a Uni air filter, HMF swamp series slip on muffler (dont want anything loud), and a dynojet jet kit. If anyone has tried any of these items please post up your thoughts and suggestions. I was also thinking of a full exhaust set up but have had problems finding those for my bike. Thanks!

You may fetch a little bit of throttle response, but it's not going to be a big change at all. How much money do you have to throw around on this? If you don't mind.

My point is you may be able to play with the clutching to get some performance change, but it gets spendy.

I was considering a clutch kit but I also do alot of slow manuvering through the woods and didnt want the bike jumping all the time. I suppose if I found something really mild I would consider it. Basically I am pretty happy with the power but I installed some 26" ripsaw radials and would like to restore a little of the power I lost from such a heavy tire setup. I figured some of the basic bolt-ons would help that out.

From what I read and hear, power lost from heavier tires is often best regained through clutching adjustments. It definitely helped me. If you don't want too much jump, I suggest talking to one of the pros at these clutching companies and tell them what exactly what you are looking for.

Sounds like to me the clutch kit acts as a high performance torque converter for an automatic car

Pretty much but its more abrupt than a torque converter. Kinda like your flashing the converter everytime you take off. Im wanting to try a few other things first and use the clutching as a last result.

Clutching will help you regain the response you lost from adding the larger tires. As far as more power goes, a slip on is a waste of money. Better to do a full exhaust, air box mods, and a custom tune.

Do you know any companies that make a full exhaust for a 400 HO (Thats not extremely loud)?

Well I just did some research and found out that the 2011 Sportsman 400 & 500 share the same exhaust all the way from the cylinder head to the muffler. This should open up some more possibilities. Anyone have any suggestions on a complete system that wont be extremely loud?

Clutching is how to get the pep back with heavy tires. You can spend all you want on HP improvements but you still have to get it to the ground to see any difference and that takes clutching....just my $.02
