1996 polaris sportsman 400

I im trying to find a jet kit or what type of jet my atv has. Its a 1996 sportsman 400 4x4 2 stroke with a mikuni roundslide carb. and help would be apreciated.

looking for the jet size in there? only one way to tell on a older machine, open it up and look, willing to bet its probably been changed out before. or are you looking for the type of mikuni jet to get? do you just need to replace them, are you jetting up or down?

its an older machine im trying to find what type of jet it is so i can purchase them not the size of the actual jet.Again im going to re-jet the bike(running to rich) but need to know which type of jet to buy for my particular carb. I went to rocky mountain atv . com and found a bunch of difrent jet types.

the haynes book that i have only goes back to 1998. For the 400 2 strokes
mikuni vm34ss
main jet 230
pilot jet 35
jet needle 6cey6-3
needle jet 0-6 (480)

for the 1996 sportsman 400 the main jet is a 210, the pilot jet is a 30, the clip is on the 3rd position, air screw setting is 1 turn out, and the needle jet is o-6 (480). i have the manual right here for my quad. i have it rented out from the library.
