So im about to purchase an atv within a week or so. Looking at the 2011 500 HO priced at 5299 and the 550xp at 6499. Im leaning toward the xp because of the electronic fuel injection and dual A arms. However, there is a difference in 1200 dollars, so i was wondering what ya guys think.
Also, know of any places that sell front bumper and rear guards lower than the cost of what polaris wants to sell me them for

Some sort of functional rack front and rear since Polaris dosen't believe in them.
If you have the 1200 extra go with the XP. It's well worth it. If it streches your budget too much, the stick with the 500. The 500 is not a bad machine, very capable and rock solid, it's just "yesterday's" model
