Started shopping for a '11 850 Touring Super Graphite. Best i have found so far is $12,115 OTD. Is this fair and what have other paid in AZ or can dealers and salesman be recommended? Thanks I am in the Phx area.

Doesn't seem fair at all...IMHO.

I tried a few dealer's in the PHX area...while I was looking to purchase two 2011 Tourings...and they really did not want to deal.

IMO...you may have to travel some to find a good deal. Maybe try Colorado (like me)...or Utah.

You should be able to do better. Don't know if sales tax was in your figure but I've seen $10,200 for that model. Look in the Vegas area - email them for a quote. There are hastles involved with out-of-state purchases, so know what you're getting into.

Personally, I'd pay a little more to have a local dealer who'd back me up in case I was one of the unlucky ones who gets a lemon. My local dealer was quoting me $10,500 on the regular 850 Touring. I sent an email to the manager saying I wanted to buy from him and had bought several times from him, but would be forced to go elsewhere due to price. He called me with price of $9500.

Traveling around to find better deals is a good deal but also keep in mind you have to have a dealer that can fix or back you up if you have a machine that was put together on a Friday afternoon.
