polaris 850 xp for sale

Hello all.

New member from western new york. Im looking to get a sportsman 850 XP EPS (preferably Orange madness) within the next couple weeks and am currently shopping around. With that being said, after talking to a reputable dealer in my area today, he said that the orange madness version would run a grand more then the 850XP EPS models (black,maroon,green). Is this true? Every website i can possibly find says the MSRP for the 3 base colors AND the orange madness version is 9999.00$$ Now obviously i will not pay MSRP value for the quad but is there a price difference that im not aware of or is this guy screwing with me?

What a good price for the 2011 XP EPS models? If i had to veer from the orange i guess id do the black but i have my heart set on the orange...

What price should i absolutely not go over when purchasing this quad? Any other good dealers anyone knows of in Western New York area or northwestern PA? Thanks in Advance

Dealer is BSing you. His cost may be a couple hundred more - basically the cost of the front box & a little paint for the special edition. I was quoted $230 more for the Pearl White LE than a Sage Green with winch and front box. For the difference, you get blacked out parts on the rims and the orange paint job (body & springs). Get a price on the regular model and offer him $250 more for the Orange.

I paid 10,000 in Canada and added the tracks and 3500lb winch and synthetic cable, came to a total of 14499.00 including tax @ 14% Canadain. I am sure he can do better. Tracks were on sale for 3899.00 installed. ( Camoplast 4s )

Thanks for the input guys. Crimson850, where are you located and what dealers are you referring to? I went to another dealer yesterday and the sticker is at 9500 now which is a little better but thats without tax. Id like to be 9500 out the door tax included.

I bet you can be very close to $9K out the door. Your dealer is trying to gouge for color selection. May be worth a little drive to save big$$. Dealers will deal over the phone if they know you are a serious buyer.
