First ATV help

Ok, I am looking at buying my first ATV. I think I have settled on the sportsman but here is my question.

same dealer.
2011 500 HO for $5200-5500 New bare bones. would add a winch.

or

2009 550 xp efi
Dealer demo with 76 miles. considered new. 6 month warranty
right color. alum rims. bigger engine, better suspension, ect. no winch
they are asking 6000

My thought is offer 5500 cash and see what they say.

What do you guys think? should I get a new 2011 Carb or new 2009 EFI?

Go for the 550 - it is way more machine than the 500. Riding comfort and performance is great.
