Question Is this a good price on a Polaris Sportsman 500?

I'm looking for a Polaris Sportsman 500 and I recently found one on Craigslist. I understand that Craigslist isn't always very reliable and I'm new to the whole fourwheeler scene, so I came here to the experts for some input.

Is this a good/fair price considering the year, miles, hours, etc? I understand that I should also look at it in person, but what do you guys think judging from this Craigslist ad?

Thanks for reading.

Thumbs down

This website and forum is a joke. This is the least helpful site that I have come across. Also, the last thing that I want is a "welcome" from an administrator who spams other users topics with the same "welcome". Us forum users come here for answers. Not generic messages.
The support on this site is just awful.

I agree. It has a lot of add ons, but that doesn't necessarily add resale value. 3000 sounds about right.

What did you need help with? I see that you have only made 3 posts. Have you ever heard of people that are nice and say welcome to the site. The information on this site is free and saves alot of people money from taking the atv back to the dealer. I am sorry you feel that way. I am only know about the older 4 stroke magnums and sportsman 4strokes. If you want to get your atv repaired take it back to the dealer and spend money.

Poster is looking to see if $3200.00 is a good deal for the add posted.
Yeah, 3 posts 2 basically the same in 2 different threads & 1 bitch post.
The thing is what may be a good deal for 1 person may not be for another.

There's a thing called research, unless there are members here that deal
in selling & buying on a normal basis it may be hard to say what is a good
deal just by a pic and words.

Kelly Blue Book is FREE to check out prices, only takes your time to plug in
the required info.

Just b/c you don't get an answer to your first post/question in a certain
time frame, doesn't mean the site & forum is a joke. There's a thing called
"Goggle" where you can type in "used atv prices" also.

one thng you wont see alot of on this forum is B.S and whining because its a good forum if you dont like it dont use it and if some one saying welcome offends you. you got issues . you got responses to your post with good answers so show a little respect

You sir have a bad attitude, I highly suggest you change it or your future on this helpful forum will be short-lived. Jumping on an Admin because they said "Hello" is nothing short of a joke, your either a punk 14 year old kid or an immature adult, regardless you need to change your attitude and learn a little respect.

I spent 2 years in ATV sales at a polaris dealer. Dealt a lot with both new and used sales, trade-ins, ect. But when people have such quick attitudes like this, I reserve my advice and say, "Have a nice day".
