Is this a good price on a 2010 550 X2

Awesome forum by the way! I have been shopping for a 550 X2 and found a 2010 at a nearby dealer. He has it listed $1,000 off MSRP - 7,999.00 but will come down to $7,500.00. For $8,100 it could include a plow set up and winch but will not install. What do you think? Is there much more room for him to move a 2010 machine? Should I push on the labor or install myself? Sounds like the winch and plow or easy installs on the X2 as its prewired for the winch. Thanks for any advice!!!

FYI.....I can get a 2011 X2 for $8,000 at another dealer but I don't see a big difference between 2010 and 2011. At least not for $500.

That seems like a pretty good price...I just checked where I got mine to see how much they are and a brand new one is 7699.00 and they dont charge doc fee's and other hidden cost..I got mine (850 2011 for 7400)!!! I am actually moving to Oregon in the next month and i have priced quads up there and they are pretty high!!! But it seems like that 2010 is a pretty good deal..push for them to install everything and i would do it...check out where i got mine off-roadpowersports.com Its in south Ga but it just goes to show they hike up their prices in other areas. Let me know if i can help in any way...

Thanks Mike and welcome to the NW. Just an FYI, there is a shop in Eugene Or that has the 2011 X2 also listed for $7699 out the door. Its about a six hour drive for me one way so once I pay sales tax in WA and title it here, It ends up being about the same price as I can find one up here. Anyway, this might be a good place for you if your looking for a dealer with decent prices in OR.

I got my 2011 550 x2 for $7600 OTD. But I am in Oklahoma and don't know if "demand" in your area keeps the prices higher or not. Plus, all other dealers (the 3 I talked to) said they didn't know how the dealer I bought mine from could sell it to me that cheap.
I can't believe I just said that $7600 for a 4-wheeler is "cheap".

I'm not 100% positive but I think the only difference between the 2010 and 2011 X2 is more padding on your passenger seat on the 2011.

I use the quad just around my property for wood gathering and hunting so not sure about the riding in the NW but I can say there should be lots of variety from coastal dunes, rainforest mountain trails to desert riding. Plenty to see and even more with an ATV.
