2001 polaris xplorer

I like my first 2 polaris', I am in the market for another, my friend has a 2001 polaris xplorer 250 4x4 that he would sell for $1250, Its all in great condition, and its always serviced at the dealer (I know this for sure) and he has all the papers for it and its plated, its selectable 2wd/4wd, something I want in a 4x4, and its a 2 stroke, so I suspect it would be fairly powerful?? If anyone on here has one of these or could share some knowledge on them that would help me in my purchase, thanks.

i have a 2000 xplorer 250. if well cared for it, that is a cheap price for a 4x4 especially if you know it has been cared for by your friend. i drove a 2011 sportsman 400 today and it had nothing on the xplorer250. It is actually a fun machine to drive.
