Awesome! What PSI are you running? I now run 6 up front and 5 in the rear because mine was all over the place with 7 all around. I have a friend with big horns that had the same problem. I hear ya on the power loss too.

The 800 is probably different, but I have an EPI kit on my 500 and run a gold primary and purple secondary. It also came with new weights and a billet helix. The reason I make mention is that I bought the sport utility kit, AKA the oversize tire kit. This one came with a red primary and it raised the engagement too much for my liking. So I had to order up a new spring (gold)to take the engagement down again. Just be sure when ordering your stuff that you talk to somebody and get what you're looking for/need. If someone would have told me this before I might have been able to save 35 bucks and a few hours of labor. My .02

I have a couple questions... what is breaking out? What is float?

By float, do you mean squirrelly on hard pack, or unresponsive from steering? I dont imagine what break out is...

My 550 is quite a bit more than pops 550, mine simply pulls are the "R"s build while the 550 jumps but dawdles thru the mid range than picks up a bit as you get up to 5G's. But its too little too late, the 700 just goes. I know the 800 builds power the same, almost identical but +!

CW

By breaking out I just meant taking off from a dead stop. I can still easily spin the tires, but obviously not as well as when it had the stockers on it. I definitely don't have to worry about it pulling up on me and I don't get that fast take off that it had before...which I would expect with the 27's as I've heard that the Mud Lite XTR's are pretty heavy. By floating I mean it just seems to roam all over the trail...the steering is responsive and its not really squirrelly...it just floats back and forth lol..not sure how else to explain it.

I'm honestly not sure what PSI the tires are set at...That is one thing I'm going to check when I get a chance...I was going to check it when we were out riding but couldn't find my guage. Did you use the new helix and weights? There are so many different ways to go about the clutching...I've been trying to read up on here and get an idea of what would be best...but everyone does it different lol. Some people run EPI or Heel Clicker or QSC...some use stock weights and helix, some use just the new helix...then the springs lol...some are running gold springs some are running blues...i guess its one of those things where'd I'd really have to call and talk to someone about what I'm looking for...which I think I may be doing in the near future!

I hear ya, check the PSI I'm gonna bet it's over 7 and thats why you're floating. I did end up using the helix and the weights, probably didn't need all of it, but it came nicely in a kit. I bet you can get away without having to do the whole kit. The people at EPI were very easy to deal with, as I am sure QSC and heelclicker are the same way. I went with EPI because they made some nice videos to follow.
