Reviews of the 2012 850XP HO? what should I pay
Did a little searching on the internet for pricing...found a steal but not sure if I want another 850 it was a 2012 browning edition 850 HO EPS for $8600 and it retails for $11,000. my 850 was totaled and I may buy it back if I can get it for like $2000 or under. is there a considerable difference in the 2012? I will not get a 2011 because I refuse to deal with the oil in the airbox issue again.. even though I may not get one with that issue I still opt for the 12...let me know what you have heard or any problems with the new set up..thanks guys

Ive tried the 850 2009 non eps and the 850HO of this year and It is worth every penny. Its day and night. Powerband is better, engine runs smoother, better clutch engagement. The old 850 felt like a friday built bike.

the 2012 have something like 7 more ponies in the engine, suppose to be alot more quicker off the line.

My dealer told me his COST on the 2012 EPS standard is 8900, and is selling them for $9400. My guess is dealer cost on the browning is around 9600. Not sure how you could possibly be getting it for that cheap. It must be a 2011 w/$1000 rebate.

Have you actually verified that price in person? My guess is that it's a misprint or they'll add on $1000+ in fees of some sort.

probably a 300 set up fee + 300 destination fee + 150 doc fee . be aware of the extras , they will kill the "good " price you thought you had . when I got my 11 there was sticker price , then the LOWERED dealer asking price , then they took off the 1000 rebate . all said and done it was machine cost + tax and wi registration ........... no extra fees at all ! most dealers will advertise a good price and kill you with thier B.S. extra costs which are supposed to be included in the manufacturers suggested retail price . so in a nutshell if your dealer is asking 1000 less then polaris's manufacturers suggested retail price then tacks on doc, setup, destination , and any other crazy fees they are screwing you .
