This is my first post. I'm in the market for a Sportsman. Right now, the best deals I can find are for 2011 550 without eps for $5999 and a 2011 800efi w/o eps for $5699. I live in Florida and hunt in Alabama so eps is really unnecessary for me. I'm leaning towards the 550 for the gas mileage. Are these great deals? What legitimate dealer fees should I expect to pay? What should I expect to pay put the door? Thanks for your help-----Chris

I bought my 2011 800 2 months ago for $5932 plus tax...something like $6290 OTD. I wouldn't write off the 800 as being bad on fuel. My first tank of gas averaged 21.9 mpg. That was smooth trail riding 30-35 mph.
The prices you posted are indeed very low, but what other fees do you have to pay? Setup, freight, administration, registration?
