850XP EPS vs 850 Touring w/EPS

Here in Florida i can't nail them down on a good price for a touring model can't even find a 2011 but i got a 2011 850XP w/EPS for $9000. loaded in the back of my truck OTD, i don't know how some guys are getting them for under $8000. The dealer told me $8200 plus all the other BS like tax title dealer fee prep shipping all that stuff so $9000. Red or Stealth Black.
Should i keep looking? I can wait if you guys really think i can do better!!

Tony

Tony,

Price varies a lot around the country. Maybe we have some guys that are local to you and can provide some recommendations.

However, I would say this... consider finding the BEST dealer within reasonable driving distance, and get your best deal there. Finding a great dealer is far more important than saving a couple hundred bucks.

Of course, that's just my opinion.

Thanks North B

Funny you say that and i agree, just that my area because it is very touristy (if thats a word) get's a premium for everything. I bought a HD Ultra and had it shipped from NY and saved $3000. I guess i still need to know if $9000. is fair?

That sounds like a pretty reasonable price to me. Picked mine up for $8900 after some shopping around and and fast talking to get the dealer to match the best price I could find out of state. Maybe you could talk them down a little from there, but if not I wouldn't think you were getting a bad deal. In this area the black gets the premium price, followed by red and then the green. I happened to prefer the green and was able to get the best price.

Well...if MSRP is $9,999.00

Where does the rebate fit in?

How much is the dealer actually taking off the machine?

IMHO...go to ATVs for Sale - Bombardier, Polaris, Can-Am, Arctic Cat - ATV Trader.com and enter you zip code with distance...and see what comes up.

Here is what I did...

I called two local dealers...and asked for OTD pricing on my current XP's. They gave me some HIGH cost...and I said I'll think about it. Then...I went online...and looked them up. They had the exact same machines LOWER online...so I called back...and talked with internet sales manager...and got the lower price! Worked for me...

Good luck...
