oh boy the list goes on and on and on with the different choice's you can have, kfi seemed nice, but now i am looking at the Viper Elite 3500, anybody have some nice or bad thing's about viper's, happy trail's to everyone for the welcome, a really top notch forum here...

Check out the Viper Elite series. I will be upgrading our TheATVSuperStore.com demo 2012 850 Touring LTD to the 4k unit. I have tested both the Warn XT30 & Viper and feel the Viper is a MUCH better value for the money. It has been proven over the years. Any questions feel free to call the shop and ask for me. Just received my Viper Elite 3500 from Thor a couple weeks ago. With hunting season under way right now and no threat of snow in the forecast here in Delaware, it hasn't been a rush for me to get it completely installed. I mounted the winch to the frame this past Sunday, now just need to complete the wiring. Mounting was a cinch with no problems getting holes to line up on my Sportsman 500.

The Viper is really a top quality winch for the price. Come with many extras with out the extra cost. I love the wireless remote that is also included in the kit. We have one mounted on newly acquired demo unit. This a a 1998 Sportsman 500 with 24 original miles on it! Any question on this or any other winch feel free to call the shop & ask for Thor!

Did you also install a KFI plow on that old sportsman? If so could you give a review of it?

It looks like Thor installed a Motoalliance plow on the old Sportsman. Here's my review of the KFI plow. KFI has the strongest plow system on the market if you ask me! KFI plow review

For the winches, the Viper Elite looks like a fine unit. HOWEVER, it's hard to justify the price when you can get a Superwinch Terra 35 for $100 cheaper.
