Dealer also had a 550 no EPS for $6800 OTD. this was what I was looking for but for $700 more I got the 850. Do you all think it was best to upgrade to the 850 for the 700 more.
The only thing that has me thinking is the 850 has the problem with oil in the air box problem. From reading in the forums the 550 does not have this problem, I wounder if I made the right choice?

The difference in power from the 550 to the 850 is well worth the $700. As for the oil in the air box, I have a '11 850xp and haven't had any issues with the air box. The only problem I had was backfiring on deceleration. But that went away after about 400 miles.

Im also looking at a leftover 11 XP 850 Non EPS. I have them down to $7,400.
Did you find any other info about the air box? There are a lot of people on here that have had issues with the 11,10,09 models.
