Cool 2009 xp 850

Purchased a 2009 XP 850 brand new, full warranty for$6999 OTD. Good deal or not?

xp 850

get rid of it while it still runs. check out slyders thread about crankshaft . mine did same thing month ago just got around to tearing it apart this weekend crank was walking in the block there is no thrust bearing in these motors to keep crank centered. crank was walking so bad flywheel was rubbing on oil pump cover and rear main seal was leaking into chamber between engine and trans. good luck!

Sounds good to me, get out there and put some hours on it and have fun!!
If there were any problems then your warranty will sort it out, just make sure you put some miles on it so any potential problems show up but I wouldn't worry too much about it, they are a great bike.
If you get the oil in the airbox issue then simply remover the breather felt as per the instructions in the oil in the airbox thread.
Take Care and have FUN!!

Regards - MM

Sounds like a good deal to me. Beware asking questions like this after you've bought something. Since you've already got it. I'd go out and ride it. Check out the XP section of the forum for ideas different options for aftermarket goodies.
