call Frank at

He offered me a 5yr Polaris Warranty with $50
deductible for what I thought was a good price.
I'll be buying from him within the next month
or so. He sells a lot of Polaris warranty's to
people that aren't local to his dealership.

Ditto
2012 850 touring, no problems thus fare. Only 80 miles on it though. I got the extended warranty for the simple fact that if you use it once it's worth it. Per money already spent on the purchase of the quad and the cost of an average warranty item I would error on the side of caution. IMO

When I bought my first atv I got the extended warranty the dealer did not use the Polaris one though he said they had way to many problems with them they used Integrated Warranty Systems Inc. I just pulled the info to check the price & I paid $1311.00 in total for it & it gave me a extra 4.5 years.
The bike was problem free till Mar. 08 (bought the bike in Sept. 06) when I had my first claim, they replaced the surepower module, ($139.99) recoil gasket, ($18.99) start drive gear, ($199.99) flywheel w/ring gear, ($319.19) asm. plate ($529.99) labour cost was $165.00 parts was $1208.00 GST tax $68.70 for a grand total of $1442.65
There was my warranty paid for & there was no hassle from the warranty comp. With out going back thorough all my paper work I know I have had it in for 2 more surepower modules & there was another claim but for the life of me I cant recall what that one was for & not once was there any problems with the above named comp.
Dont take me wrong I am not bashing just saying shit happens & with any toy & when it does it usually cost big bucks.

Now for my new atv I am going with the same comp. we havent done up the paper work yet so not sure what its going to come to yet but for anyone in Canada (not sure if they are in the USA or not) I would say ask your dealer about this company.
As for the Polaris warranty the dealer I am dealing with now has stopped using them too they said they basically cover the power train & thats it. Which they just found out not too long ago when they put a claim in for a fan motor & it was denied. So yous may want to check if your dealer has had any problems with them in the last year & find out exactly what they cover cause there was apparently a change in their policy in the last year.

Sorry for the long winded post but just wanted to pass on my feed back on what I have seen & herd.
Enjoy the new toy, I sure am.

Should just add that with the warranty I had & am getting is $0 deductible.

Another thing to consider is your resale value will be higher and will sell a lot quicker in the future with a warranty on the ATV.

thanks for inputs and i will check wich company is available before i buy, i'm still on the fence, but with all the gadgets on these machines, when it goes wrong it's going to cost a load..so.. i'll probably go for extended warranty..

I bought a two year warranty when I bought my 07 500 x2 last year. Just got back from dealer today, 1,648.29 bill that could be called my fault. Polaris paid for all. Starter, power moudle, stator, recoil assm., starter drive. Warrenty was 400.00 bucks. Was not going to buy it, dealer talked me into it, damn glad I did. Also made me feel good about this dealer,WR.
