That is a $1000 over average retail, so unless it comes with a few add-ons and/or they are willing to lower the price $400-$500...afterall, that is very low miles and hours.

I have only viewed pics. In pics it looks pretty nice and to what seller says. Things can be different when actually looking at the quad in person. If this quad is very nice, the price is correct. KBB shows about $3500 for my area for one in excellent shape. Still will offer less.
Looked at a Kodiak a few weeks back for 3600, that should have been 2600. It was beat. Didnt even bother to rinse the mud/dirt off. 3x the miles and double the hours compared to the 600 that started this post. I think he left the dirt on to hide other problems...

Good point on the regional. I used NADA. KBB tends to have higher retail prices and lower trade in prices compared to NADA.

Any more thoughts on the 600? Good machines overall? I have some friends with smaller units(400 & 500's) but nobody I know has much experience with a 600.

I have a 2003 600 with 3200 miles on it and haven't had any major problems with it. The CDI module just took a crap and that is the biggest issue I have had with it.

Remember, the 600 engine is essentially the same as the 700. The chassis is the same as the 500 and 700. For 3 years, I plowed 3-4 driveways every winter. The machine always started and power was never an issue. I have a buddy with a Sportsman 500. Side by side, the 600 literally runs away from that 500.
The 600 is not hard to start in the winter, just cold blooded. If you run it with the choke on for 5-10 minutes, it runs perfect. My mother in law has an 04 Sportsman 500 that also has to be run with the choke on for 5 minutes. Once the machines are warmed up, they run great.

04 600
I bought my 04 600 new and never had a problem with it.It has great low-end torque and plenty of speed(for me).it drinks a little more gas than the 500's but I think its worth it.BTW it has a little over 2200 miles on it.

The 600 is now mine. Got it for 3300. Nice machine. Should provide many years of use. Looking for a plow and winch on craigslist now...
Its a fun quad with plenty of power. Changing fluids and plugs this week. Thx for all the info from those that responded.
