1998 magnum 425 4x4
Hi guys, I've got a chance to buy a 1998 magnum 425 4x4. it has 1,025 miles on it. It includes a plow and winch, (polaris plow, warn winch). It is in great, almost perfect condition. A couple little scratches, thats all. Same guy (customer of mine) bought it new, and I know he is meticulous with his machinery. What is a fair price to offer. He wants $2800, but I know thats a little high. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Guys.

I would say between $1500 and $2000. A new 500 HO is around $5200 (keep in mind in 1995 they used steel parts not all that plastic junk.
The 425 Magnum in my opinion is one of the best Polaris atv's made. Maybe you can talk him down some. A rough 425 will still bring around $500-$1000 depending on the seller. Good luck with your purchase.

I've still got my 1996 Magnum 425 4X2 that I bought brand new. Put a fuel pump and a couple of batteries on it and that's all. That thing is a tank for what its been through. Could use tires but still looks good for its age.
