Between her torn Achilles and the snow on the ground, it will be a while before she gets out and rides. She hasn't even gone out to the shed to look at her new ride yet.

Nasty stuff. A new ride should be motivation to get better I would think!

All the snow is almost gone around here! Lots of friends have been riding as of a couple weeks ago. Now I'm motivated!

Yes, you would think a new ride would be motivation, but it hasn't been. You would also think that a husband of many years would be smart enough to consult his wife before selling her ATV, and not let her find out by looking out the window and seeing it loaded into a strangers truck. But such is not the case.

I only wish our snow was mostly gone. In Colorado, March is the snowiest month, and I think that April is the 3rd snowiest, so we have some time to kill. There is an area that doesn't get much snow that is only about 30 minutes away. I might take the Jeep up there and see if there are any open trails. Even a couple miles would suffice for an initial ride.

LMAO...........sounds like a little lapse in marital etiquette. It happens to all of us sooner or later! Perhaps not to that extent.....lol. But you did get her something bigger and better............just not in diamonds! Diamonds would surely clean this whole thing up I would bet.........other than the bank balance.

Well.......I bought an '07 Sportsman 500 HO limited edition. It has 110 hours on it and 1400 miles. It looks pretty minty! Checked out great visually. It still has the original tires on it too. The gal who owned it said she just hung back from the group with her 5 year old on the back. She recently bought a replacement atv. Engine oil and ADC fluid and antifreeze is really clean. I am going to give it a once over and change all the fluids anyways so I know they're good.
I do have a question though. When the ADC kicks in should I be able to feel/hear a kind of clutch pack engagement. It kind of sounds like a bit of a knocking that can be felt. It seems to work fine and will almost stop the quad on flat ground. Just wondering if this is normal or not. She sure purrs like a kitten though. It has more jam than I expected too which is nice for the wifey!
Anyone try the oil sump vent hose clamping when changing the oil and filter? I didn't hear the rush of air, but the engine sounds great!?
