Polaris Financing Questions??

Hi All,

I am wondering how Polaris financing works? With the Starcard, is it just like a credit card, where you can pay the minimum, or as much as you want each month?

Is the rate the same for the entire term?

So, there would be a specified term? How long of terms does Polaris finance do? 72? How about 84?

I've always used the 60 month term, not sure if they have a longer term.

starcard is just like a credit card. there is no term length, just your mininum payments and you carry the balance until it is payed off. of course, it will take you forever to pay if off that way. i would not buy an ATV on the starcard, the interest will be really high.

if your going to finance, go with installment payments, that way you get a better interest rate and a set amount of terms. i think the longest they ever finance to is 60 months, and right now the best interest rate they offer is 6.99%

I had a up front dealer tell me you would do better to get a loan from your bank or credit union. Some dealers have loans around 6.99% which are for the life of the loan and better over all than the Star Card which is 5.99% which is also compounded every 30 days. The Star card is just that a credit card and I would really take the time and read and understand the fine small print.

I was able to finance my 2010 sportsman 500 ho for 3 years for 3.99%. This was the best deal that i had found out of most dealers, polaris or not.
