Having read that so many of you are having problems with wiring looms going bad through vibration or the like,i thought i would pass on my experience with American copper & as the Polaris is manufactured in America/Canada this may be of interest to you all.
I live in the UK & 30+ years ago i fitted central heating to my property & was told that copper was in short supply in the UK but i could be supplied with American copper for the pipe work.
I was also informed that i would need to use soldered joints & bends because if i tried to bend this pipe it would split.
Now that says to me its a very poor quality & could be the problem why your wiring looms are breaking down with vibration etc. if the quality is still the same after all these years & i have no reason to think otherwise.
Hope this is of help to someone who has the facility to be able to check the quality of the polaris wiring loom copper against say a Jap wiring loom.
