500 efi starting problems

My 2008 500 with efi is taking to long to start. The motor is turning over fast so the starter is not the problem. I have to try to start it 4 or 5 times before it does start then it runs find. I have drain fuel tank and change fuel filter. the 4 wheeler has about 980 miles on it. When the bike was new it would start right up. thanks for help or advice on fixing this problem.

could it be the spark plug, or maybe the air filter?

Ohm test your stator, and check your fuel pressure. Let me know what you find.

mine did the same when it was warm but once it got cold (winter) it wouldn't start at all and the pull start wouldn't budge; warranty changed out the started and who knows what else.
