Bogging when hot

1996 Polaris 400 2 Stroke
Runs good until it gets hot then it boggs down when I give it full throttle. The machine will still pull and will take gas if I give it to it slow but some times you have to have the power right away an it boggs down. will not pull a hill when it is bogging down. Does not do this all the time but when it's hot. I have had it start out this way after riding hard a couple of days in a row.
I have cleaned the card, changed plugs on the trail which helps some times.
Tried leaning out the carb and making it too rich.
Any ideas?
