Awesome chart. Thanks Bruce.
My 08 800 service manual on page 2.11 calls for ADF for the rear gearcase.
But on page 2.13, it's telling me 5.0 oz of AGL.
I'm off to change my fluids with the Polaris brand already purchased and will order up the Amsoil for the next round.

Im using castrol 5-140 gear oil from autozone on front diff no issues yet, cheap oil, but i have a huge water leak so i have to change it every two or three rides. Adc and awd been working alright so far. Beats 30 bucks for a qt.

Could someone tell me what the difference is between All Season and U-Joint grease? Besides use the U-Joint grease on the u-joints and All Season everywhere else.

All Season Grease is a multi-purpose grease such as this AMSOIL Grease Gun Kit (GLCKT)

U-Joint Grease is a special water resistant grease such as this Synthetic Water Resistant Grease (GWR) Note - The water resistant grease can be used to replace the MP grease, its just cost a little more.

Note - Both the MP and Water Resistant greases in those links is available in 3-oz tube (3-pac) but the gun comes with a (1-tube) MP grease.

What Amsoil fluid can use in the transmission/rear diff of a 2012 Polaris Sportsman 400HO?

The numbers on the Polaris chart do not cross to the Amsoil Chaincase fluid??

AMSOIL - Synthetic Chaincase & Gear Oil (TCC)

Thanks,
Will

They have not updated the web site. The TCCCN Synthetic Chaincase Oil is the correct replacement for AGL 2878068 (qt) and 2878069 (gal) for your 2012 400.

PS - A significant redesign is coming to AMSOIL web siite. Beginning June 27, AMSOIL will begin testing a new corporate website layout.

Sweet! I look forward to it. When will it be launched fully?

Thanks,
Will

Not sure exactly when nor have I heard any more info for the last month. I seen a peek at it and its completely different.

Each visitor has a 50/50 chance to be directed to the current www.amsoil.com or the redesigned version. Visitors will always see the same version of the website upon each subsequent visit. This type of testing allows AMSOIL to gather valuable data on the effectiveness of the new website’s design and make adjustments accordingly.

Michael,

You are correct regarding the older Polaris numbers you referenced. Polaris numbers 2878068 and 2878069 superseded them. The AMSOIL TCC is still the recommended oil to use. We are in the process of updating and re-organizing the power sports lookup guide, and will also be updating this lubricant list in the near future.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
