Hi Bruce... I'm new to all of this, so please bear with me...
I spoke to a Amsoil Distributor rep today, and although he couldn't tell me if the Amsoil lubes were a direct replacement for the Polaris lube, he did tell me that the "Series 2000 Synthetic Chain Case Lube" is now called "Synthetic Chaincase & Gear Oil" (Code TCC), Amsoil doesn't make the GL5 80-90 (front) gear case oil, but you could use the GL5 75-90 with no problems (Code: SVG), and the Polaris Demand Drive hub fluid, which calls for "Amsoil ATF Type F", would now be called the "Amsoil Synthetic Multi Vehicle ATF".
I guess what I'd like to confirm is if the above Amsoil fluids are the absolute correct fluids that I can use in my 2000 Scrambler 500 to replace the front gear case fluid, transmission/gearcase fluid, and the hub fluid, before I buy them and do this!

Unless I'm not understanding what you said, I think AMSOIL does make an GL-5 80-90 gear lube. Here's the link...

Ok, excellent... so I could use Amsoil GL-5 80-90 as a direct replacement when changing the oil in the front gear case - thanks North Branch! I will point this out to the guy. Have you used the Amsoil "Synthetic Chaincase and Gear Oil" for the gearcase/transmission then?

Yikes, we are ruining Bruce's thread. Sorry Bruce.
Anyhow...
Yes, I used the AMSOIL Chaincase oil in my 500 HO when I had it. Worked just fine, but I didn't have the quad long, so I don't know how it is long term... but I'm betting it's excellent.
For a non-Hilliard front differential requiring GL5... either 75-90 or 80-90, I actually prefer this AMSOIL product.

Thanks again North Branch, and yes I agree, huge apologies to Bruce for ruining his thread... but the post was a perfect segway for my "fluid issues"... LOL. And now that I'm here, I can't help but ask... "Amsoil Synthetic Multi Vehicle ATF" - good for the hubs? Yes, no? Thanks again folks!

Love the Chart. Wish I had access to that a few months back when I was making my own chart for my 2 machines. Cross checking with this chart I did pretty well. My one on the wall in the shop matches up nicely except I change fluids more often than it says.

Amsoil, Powersports 0W-40 will work great in your machine.
