quick fix on loose tierod ends

if you have loose tierod ends all you need to do is take a hack saw and saw the end of the tierod end and romove the ball. you need to make the dia smaller and make it fit tighter around the ball. take a little at a time out with a file and test it to make shure its not too tight. when you like it weld it up and reinstall the boot and screw it back on the tierod and your done. takes about 20 min per end and beats paying the high price they want for new. I use a screwdriver to spread the end and a hammer to bend it back. very easy fix and will last for a long time if you take your time and do a good job. if you can tig weld it its better since its a small part. dont forget you have to install the ball before you weld it or you will have a big problem on your hands,and dont forget to remove the rubber boot or you will burn it up. good luck and ride hard.
