Sportsman 450/500 HO

I've got a 2007 sportsman 450 HO and a 2008 sportsman 500 HO. Both atv's run trouble free almost every weekend throughout the summer. Last year the 2007 on a 90 mile fall run, lost all it's power when under any kind of torch. Couldn't make it home. after putting seafoam in the tank problem went away. Now a year later both the 500 and 450 are doing the same thing. Seafoam did not cure this time. Is this a carburator problem or someone talked about vapor lock?
