Yamaha 450 Rhino carb settings

I know this is a Polaris forum. This Yamaha is not mine. Polaris only for me. It belongs to a friend of mine. He tried to work on it himself. He don't know what he was doing. He turned every screw on the carb. It's a 2007 Yamaha Rhino 450 4x4. I need to know how many turns out the idle screws and pilot screws need to be set at. If someone on this forum knows about a Yamaha Please help.
Thanks

Thanks Russ. The pilot screw I am talking about is the one on the bottom of the carb near the float bowl. Is that the screw you are talking about? This atv has been at a few shops and still has the same issue. The owner of this Rhino has spent over $600.00 and it still wouldn't run without the choke pulled out. It was full of gas. I drained the gas. It has some water, trash and bad fuel in the bottom of the tank. I removed and cleaned carb. Only a small amout of trash in the carb. The pilot screw in the bottom of the carb is tightened all the way. It idles fine, and up to half throttle it runs good. But, when you get at almost full throttle it starts cutting out. I want to rule out carb before I start looking at other things. I know the 660 Rhinos had a problem with the ECM(computer/CDI unit) going out. I'm not sure about this 450 thou.
Thanks again.

That is correct on the pilot screw location and screw turns. Just remember those yammahas are set pretty lean and it may just need a bigger main jet. Check fuel pump output, then check valve adjustment---no tighter than .006" max out is .010"
Stock air filter and housing installed??
Fresh spark plug?

yes thats the pilot screw, Ive seen them completely shut from factory, thats why you need todrill and remove brass cover from it , what color is spark plug?4Getful2 is right , most yamahas are too lean, .

Man I just was fixing to ask valve adjustment. I have had carb on and off 6 times today. Nothing wrong with carb. Took off valve cover. Valves are extremely tight. Thanks to a repair shop that was suppose to just set valves last week. Thanks to both 4getfull and Russ. I don't ask for help often but you guys came thru for me. It's a stock machine and air box was completely assembled. Fuel filter is only about 1/4 full. I'm thinking after valves are set it might pull more fuel. Thannks again.

Intake valve was tight. Exhaust valve was loose. Got them set and still the same problem. It runs just a lil better. I just noticed it's in neutral but the reverse light is blinking. Could it be electricial?

Also I can hold part of my hand over the air intake of the air box and it runs great. This is a puzzle I have to figure out. Need more leads if someone could offer help. Thanks

try one size larger main jet, does it have an e-clip on the needle?if so try lowering it one notch at a time, see if it runs better,
