04 sportsman 500 carb issues.. (i think)
so i finaly got spark to my polaris... cranked right up and ran like crap. cleaned carb really good. ran better. but sometimes it bogs down as soon as i hit the gas.. sparkplug comes out with black soot all over it.. sometimes drips a little gas from overflow on bottom of the bowl. and it wont idle at all times. have to hold the gas to keep it rumming.. i have to turn it off to switch gears because of this.. help??

pilot jet in carb still dirty, , need to remove all jets, spray through them and holes theyy came out of with carb cleaner and compresed air, make sure all little holes on side of pilot jet are open and clean, is crankcase full of gas from needle and seat being bad in carb and causing the gas to run ouit of it?

crankcase is clean. when i cleaned it, i took all jets out and sprayed them and their holes really good with wd40. it was going through them easily
