Right.... I've never had to do that yet but some say it works ,so might as well try it. Also , try revving the engine a little when the rad cap is off , this helps get the air bubbles out. It's best if you remove the cap when the engine is cold , run the engine,then when you can feel the antifreeze getting warm (it's circulating) rev it a "little" bit and hold it. You might lose a little antifreeze as the level will come up when you do this, just add more when your engine is hot , running and level on the floor.
