Wrench on speedo display

When I start my 2007 sportsman 800 a wrench flashes on the display. Eventually goes off. Anyone know what it means?

It's a maintenance timer to remind you to do periodic maintenance. It comes from the factory set for 50 hours and can be reset to whatever interval you want in diagnostic mode. it can also be turned off. I have mine turned off.

How do you get to the diagnostic mode? what all can be done in their?

turn it on then off hold brake and reverse speedo button for tenn secs then turn key on not engine needs to be in either park or neutraul

Read this thread. Blueline did a good job of explaining how to reset the wrench timer. It is also in the owners manual, if you have that.
I would reset it, and not just turn it off. Maintainance is too important to risk forgetting when you last did it.
