2000 trail boss strut!

i am trying to install my new strut that i just ordered but im not sure how to get it back on because the spring. any idea?

Here is an easy way to compress the spring to get it on using ratchet straps

here is how I did mine using the above idea when I changed out my ball joints

okay so im still a little confused, i went out to my quad to check it out but right now i have the new strut off and ready to go on but the spring isnt really connected to anything so i cant use the straps. uhh i dont know

all you are trying to do is compress the spring itself, enough to get the top mounted then attach the ball joint then release the straps CAREFULLY!

yes i will be very carefull while doing it! and okay ill probably do it tomorrow. a little to cold out now
