Help changing front AWD hub magnet / coil

Anyone out there know the proper steps to changing out the hub coil on the AWD system on a 2002 Sportsman. I have a manual but all it says is how to check the clearance between the outer and inner ring. My left magnet / coil has 1/2 the power as the right with the same amount of volts. Any help would be great. Thanks

How do you know it has half the power?, did you swap armature plates to see if the armature is demagnetized?
Also have to adjusted the collar clearance?

I put new armature plates on both sides. I took everything off except the plates. Turned the AWD on and tried to roate the plates by hand. It takes about twice the pressure to rotate the right side compared to the left. I put a straight edge on the left side and it seems to be right at .0

When i bought my Xplorer last spring the 4wd didnt work at all, I'm a proffessional mechanic and i spent many hours trying to get it to work, spent $300 in front end parts also, those coils are $75 each, honestly you can spin it all off the ground with no fluid in the hubs, i found one time after the sleeve wasnt in all the way, by taping it in slightly i got the magnetism to increase greatly, also with hubs off hilliards off just applying the coils you should be very hard to turn the armatures by hand.
You also try swapping the armature plates to see if there's any improvement?

Honestly people may like the hilliard clutch but i think it's the biggest headache of all 4WD quads made.
