2004 sportsman loud whining sound??
when moving at above 20mph, i get a super loud whining sound.. sounds lie it is coming from the front.. please help. IT SOUNDS LIKE A #$@%!%$ JET ENGINE!

belt is fine. clutch looks good. works as it should. no water in system.i noticed that the foot brake does absolutely nothing??? do you know why? it doesnt slow me down or anything..

Most likely the foot brake just needs to be bled. It is on a seperate reservoir and there is a seperate bleeder valve for it (versus the main hand brake systems)

where is the bleeder vlave? are these brakes really that important? my hand brake works fine

The bleeder is on the caliper.

I had the same kind of sound on my previous ride, CanAm. After belt change it was still there. Sold it like that as I just couldn't find the source.
