I noticed today that only three of my wheels aree working in 4 wheel drive, all but the front left. Does anyone know what the problem might be and how I go about trouble shooting it? How much work is it and how much will parts cost?

Make sure the wires are not broke that go to the hub coil.

Where should I begin to trace these wires from? I would assume you are referring to the wires that come from the little black box that is by the voltage regulator box. Do they go from that box to the stator our to the individual hub itself?

Am I looking for a certain amount of voltage or ohms at the circuit board and do I do it with it running or key turned on or off?

Alot of times the wire that goes to the hub will get cut into. Just see if it its broken. If not start using a test light to see if its getting power. The key must be on and the AWD button pushed

So I did some troubleshooting tonight, put the four wheeler on some jack stands and went to work. First off, you have to have the four wheeler running and pressing the throttle to get a test light to light up on the small wires going to the hub. I got the test light to light up on the small wires running to the hubs right out of the circuit board, front right wheel was spinning and the left wasnt. I decided to switch the switch a couple of times and then lost all power to both sides and then the front right quit spinning. I decided to treace the wires to the switch to see if I was getting power to it and then check the wire going back to the board that goes hot when the switch is switched, both have power to them and the switched wire goes off and on when the switch is flipped but no power to the small wires out to the hubs. They both act like they want to spin when I press the throttle and then they dont work. Anyone have any ideas on what to do now? Any idea what the two grey wires are that come out of the swith and go back to the board?

find a terminal in the circuit board thats hot when you turn the key on, build a jumper wire that will plug into that terminal and both red wires going to hubs, see if awd works, should still turn on and off with switch
