atv storage

I have not used my atv since spring 2011. The fuel was removed and the battery is on a float charger. Is there anything I should do before I fire up my sportsman 550 ? thanks..

I would say ..no... start her up. Since you removed the fuel , it will turn over a bit more than usual before it starts, which is good , so it can build up some oil pressure. You should be fine...

add 1 oz of seafoam per gallon of gas to help clean the fuel system when you get it running
