ebs drive clutch with non ebs secondary
Anybody tried to install a non ebs primary clutch with a ebs secondary clutch on a late 90s sportsman 500 ? will it work if not why ?

I didn't think there was such a thing as a "secondary EBS' clutch. Only the primary has the EBS feature IMO...
I would guess you would have to change the belt and maybe shim the inside of the secondary so the new belt would have some slack. (different sheave to sheave measurements) EBS belts are fairly tight and non EBS belts should have a belt flex of about an inch.

i didnt think so but on ebay they seem to have some ebs secondary .maybe a way to sell them more expensive? i know carlisle belt ebs or non there the same lenth and with just the inside is different with lenthwise grove thanks for your answer
