07 predator 500 top end noise
ok i just bought this last week and right after i got it home it started clattering\knocking in the what sounds to be in the cylinder head. so far i have changed the oil and filter and made sure it was on full. when you start it up it will idle and sound fine as soon as you give it gas it starts to knock, then when you let it go back to idle after about 3 seconds it gets quite again.

check valve clearanc, should be set at .006 intake and exhaust

Could be a worn out timing chain or tensioner.
