96 400 Sportsman 4X4 Ft Hub rebuild

Hi guys, Im hoping I can get some technical assistance. The L Ft hub has been a chronic leaker on this machine for many years. Im getting tired of putting selas in this thing and It really doesnt help. Anyways I dont believe the seal was the problem. I have ordered and have all new bearings and seals in stock now, I also have the new wear sleeve that goes on the strut where the wheel seal rides. So my first question is getting the coil out of the old wear sleeve..any advise? Second question..I know there is a spec on how deep that coil goes back in the new wear sleeve. Unfortunetly i do not have a manual. Anyone have this spec?
FYI, I believe the problem with the leaking hub was the pressed on piece of iron at the end of the strut where the wear sleeve goes on to..It was just a little bit loose and I think that outer race presses into that piece.. hence the reason the bearings would never feel tight.

Any advise guys?

Thanks
Mark

with a straight edge, gap between inner and outer is 0 to.001" 0 to.025mm book says to check in three places measurements must be within .0005 " or.013mm of each other o0r hub may not engage to remove seal sleave use a punch and hammer and work around evenly, good luck with that, I usually screw up the coil no matter how careful I try to be
