2004 Magnum Carb
I have a 2004 Magnum 330 that is running like crap and wont hardly run without feathering the choke while ridding it. So I am rebuiliding the carb in hopes that will help...I have read on here about other carbs that people have put different jets to make them run better and also there is a screw in the front to adjust to make it not so cold natured....if anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Thanks.

One of the main things I would want to check is if you are getting a good flow of gas to the carburetor. I have the same year and model and also find that it is very cold blooded running but once it gets warmed up runs just fine. I know I don't want to mess something up so for me I am going to leave that part of it alone because its been that way from new.

Make sure the pilot jet is clean and try the pilot screw in front at 2 turns out.
Just remember that the main jets and needles are for the higher rpm range. the pilot jet and air screw is for the idle circuit and mid-range.

Ok, guys did a complete carb rebulid and everything was very clean in the carb, but replaced all the jets anyway. It still doesn't run without feathering the choke. Is there anything elese I can try or do I need to look at? The Fuel filter is clean and can blow through it easy. If I turn the fuel valvue on no gas comes out, do I have to trun the moter over to create the proper vacume to make the fuel pump work? Any help please!!!!

yes, you will.
You can cover the air horn (inlet) with your hand while cranking it over(it helps). Shouldn't take too many cranks to get the bowl filled up,also will let you know if you have good vacuum.
