Welcome to the forum!!! Pull the clutch cover off & take a look. Start it up with the cover off & see if you hear where it's coming from!!!!!!! Wouldn't hurt to blow the clutches out with compressed air
while you have the cover off!

He had the clutch cover off and said it is in the area of the front clutch.I told him that is the primary clutch. He also said that the nut in the center was loss.He tightened it up,but I am not sure if he tightened enough.I believe next week I will take the cover off for myself and look and listen and see what I can see and or hear. Thanks SMP63

If he means the "bolt" in the center of the primary clutch , it should be tightened to 45 ft-lbs.
The rattle he hears is probably from the clutch assembly because the bushings are worn. I just replaced mine along with shoulder bolts and weights and my rattle is completely gone.

I guess I will hae to tear it apart and give it a look with my own eye's.He swears there is a nut and not a bolt.I told him it was a bolt not a nut but he disagrees with me.

Kevin nailed it, tear into it and change the worn parts.
