1996 polaris magnum 425 fuel leak

I have developed a leak on the bottom of the fuel tank were the fuel cut off lever is. The lever that turns on and off is leaking were it attaches to the tank itself. anyone had this happen and if so what was the fix?

There is a gasket between the petcock assembly and the tank. A gasket cost about $3.00 I think.
