took my clutch cover . looking at the belt inside the belt between the cogs there is very small amount of cracking. very shallow the rest of the belt looks brand new. i wont be doing mud unless there is no way around it. im old and slow now days. should i change it or good to go ?
i would at least carry a spare at this point. if the belt has cracked at all, it means the rubber has started to harden, and with all the tension, spinning, heat, and friction that the belt endures, it will probably wear very fast. i personally wouldnt trust it without a spare with you
