95 magnum chain

Hey guys my brother bought his son a magnum 425 2x4 and the front sprocket has broken a few teeth off. We have ordered a new chain and sprocket set for the bike, any tips of tricks on the replacement of these parts? Looks like the brake assembly will have to be removed for sure. Any special tools needed for this job? Just want to get an idea so I'll know what tools to grab out my box to bring home. Thanks for any help.

Mostly a 10 mm, small screwdriver, needle nose pliers. Not a very hard job. But, I'd do alot more if you have that kind of damage. ALL SPROCKETS AND CHAINS!!! You will find that if one is bad the rest are also. Do it now and have no worries later on.

Yes we are going to replace both sprockets and the chain. Is there an adjuster located somewhere for the chain?

Well I got the new sprockets and on the magnum this morning, seems pretty tight. I can see any place to adjust the tension!? Any suggestions? I imagine the chain will stretch after riding it but I'd like another opinion. Thanks

2bolts on rear axle, loosen them then you can turn the center part of rear axle with large channel locks or pipe wrench, its an eccentric, one way tightens the chain , the other loosens, get chain just snug and be sure to get cinch bolts tight so it doesnt slip.
