Ok, broken down. Cylinder doesn't look scored or damaged. The bottom ring on the piston is actually stuck in the groove. Guess this is why I only have 60psi for compression. I can't even remove the ring from the piston because I can't get a pry in between the two ring ends. Hopefully this will still measure the standard bore...and I can hone it and hack'er back together with a new piston/gasket kit....
Since it was already broken, I figured "why not mess with it" I gave the piston grooves a thourough cleaning with a toothbrush and re seated the rings "letters up". There was alot of carbon in there. By the time I was done, I could see the clean metal in the grooves. The rings moved around much better. I gave 'em a squeeze and put the head back on. this time I lubed the chamber with only one wipe with the finger. Last time I lubed everything....alot. I think that's what killed me.. After some slight choke, Summa-bitch, she fired. After some idle time I took it for a short minute ride....very light light throttle. The test will be when i go full throttle tonight......

You need to run it longer than a few minutes to let the rings seat in. More like a couple hours of slow running. You'll glaze the rings if not.

You should also run extra oil on the first tank of gas.
