sportsman 500 fuel leak

I just finished replacing the needle jet in my 06 sportsman 500 H.O. and now when the bike is running, fuel starts dripping out of the bottom of the carb. Its coming from the little drain with the allen head screw. I tried tightening that screw but it didn't stop the leak. Does anyone know what is causing this? Could it be something with the needle jet? There were 5 grooves on the needle for the e-clip to go in and i put it in the middle groove.

So should I try putting the e-clip in a different groove on the needle? The needle is brand new, ordered from dealer.

The slide needle and the float bowl needle and seat are two different parts...sound like you have a float bowl needle and seat issue...replace those and you will be fine!! :-)
