So I found this spring.

It's been about 2 years now, but what the hell. I found this spring one day. I am pretty sure it was on the right side of the machine. For the life of me I can not figure out where it goes. The foot brake has a spring on it but seems kinda weak. Not sure if this was second spring for that or what. Once I figure it out I can replace it. Everything on the machine is working Any ideas?

Machine is a 2004 Polaris ATP 500 HO.
